We have been making handcrafted yurts since 2005. During that time, we have refined the structure, materials and details through practical experience, customer feedback and years of seeing how our yurts perform in different climates.
What sets our yurts apart is not one dramatic feature. It is the way the whole yurt is made: natural chestnut frames, handcrafted oak crowns, carefully developed covers, properly fitted doors and windows, and a level of finish that comes from making each yurt in our own workshop.

Natural Chestnut Frames
We make the wall frames and roof poles from natural chestnut. Chestnut combines strength and flexibility with a naturally varied surface that gives each frame warmth and character.
The chestnut is selected, shaped and finished in our workshop. It is not hidden beneath paint or forced into complete uniformity. The grain, colour and natural variation remain visible as part of the finished yurt.
Handcrafted Oak Crowns
At the centre of every yurt is a solid oak crown, made by hand from 24 separate pieces. The eight-spoke design is strong, well proportioned and has become one of the most recognisable features of our yurts.
The crown is both structural and visual. It carries the roof poles, opens the centre of the yurt to light and gives the interior its natural focus.
Made for Real Weather
Our yurts are made for use across the UK and Europe, where weather conditions can change quickly and vary considerably from one region to another.
Insulated and Glass Wall yurts include natural wool felt insulation, a fire-retardant inner liner and our double-canvas roof system. The additional roof layer improves weather protection and helps the yurt perform through changing seasons.
The outer covers are made from durable proofed polycotton, chosen to combine strength, water resistance and breathability.

Doors, Windows and Glass Wall Designs
We make a wide choice of doors, fixed windows and Glass Wall sections to suit different layouts and uses. They are designed as part of the yurt rather than added as an afterthought.
Glass Wall yurts are insulated yurts with fitted glass doors, windows and wall panels. They bring more daylight into the interior, open up wider views and create a stronger connection with the surrounding landscape while retaining the circular structure and character of the yurt.
More Than Twenty Years of Experience
We have made hundreds of yurts for homes, studios, guest accommodation, retreats and commercial projects across the UK, Europe and beyond.
That experience shapes every yurt we make. Details that can appear small on paper, including ventilation, cover overlap, roof protection, frame proportions and the fit of doors and windows, make a considerable difference over time.
Made in Our Own Workshop
We do not buy in a generic frame and add our name to it. The main parts of each yurt are made and prepared by our own team, allowing us to control the materials, proportions, fit and finish throughout the build.
This also means we can make practical adjustments for different sizes, layouts and intended uses without losing the integrity of the overall structure.
Support Before and After Delivery
We help customers work through the practical choices before ordering, including size, insulation, doors, windows, wall height and the intended use of the yurt.
We also remain available after delivery. Clear installation guidance and sound advice about care, ventilation and maintenance are part of what we provide.
