Built in Our Own Workshop
We build handcrafted yurts for customers in the UK and across Europe. They are used as garden rooms, guest accommodation, glamping spaces, studios, retreats and year-round living spaces.
From canvas-only and insulated yurts to our distinctive Glass Wall yurts, each one is made with natural chestnut frames, solid oak crowns and carefully chosen covers, insulation, doors and windows.

Yurts Built for Real Use
Our yurts are built around strong natural chestnut frames, with carefully chosen canvas, natural wool felt insulation options, practical doors and windows, and the experience that comes from making yurts since 2005.
The size, layout and specification are agreed before the yurt is built. We can help you choose between a canvas-only yurt, an insulated yurt, a Glass Wall yurt or one of the yurts within our current workshop schedule.

Canvas-Only Yurts
Our canvas-only yurts use the same natural chestnut frames, handcrafted oak crowns and careful workshop construction as the rest of our range, but without natural wool felt insulation.
They are well suited to seasonal accommodation, summer use, studios, retreats, events and garden spaces where full insulation is not required.
Insulated Yurts
Our insulated yurts include natural wool felt insulation, a bright fire-retardant inner liner and our double-canvas roof system.
They are made for year-round living, guest accommodation, studios, retreats and other uses where greater comfort is needed through changing seasons.
Glass Wall Yurts
Glass Wall yurts are insulated yurts with fitted glass doors, windows and wall panels.
They bring more natural light into the interior, open up wider views and create a stronger connection with the surrounding landscape.
Double-Canvas Roof System
Our insulated and Glass Wall yurts include an additional canvas roof cover.
This gives another protective layer above the insulation and helps the roof system cope with rain, wind, strong sun and changing European weather.
How to Order a Yurt
Begin by choosing the approximate yurt size and the main specification you need.
We then prepare an individual estimate showing the frame, covers, insulation, doors, windows and other agreed options.
Once the specification, payment schedule and completion date are agreed, the deposit confirms the order within our workshop schedule.
We check the final details with you before work begins. The yurt is then made in our workshop, with the balance paid before dispatch or collection.
Yurts for Schools and Education
We also make yurts for schools, nurseries and education projects, where a warm and distinctive space can be used for learning, play, quiet groups and outdoor education.
