A Large Yurt
for Living, Retreats and Classes
A 21 foot yurt is one of our most useful larger sizes. It gives a generous open interior with enough room for living, retreat use, yoga, teaching, therapy work or spacious guest accommodation.
A large proportion of the yurts we make are around this size because it offers a strong balance. It is spacious enough to feel like a substantial room, while remaining practical for many gardens, retreat sites and living situations.
A 21 foot yurt can be made as a canvas-only yurt or as an insulated yurt, depending on how you plan to use it. The size is fixed, but the specification can be chosen around your needs.
Like our other yurts, it is made with a natural chestnut frame, a handcrafted solid oak crown and carefully fitted covers. It is a strong choice where you need space to live, work, teach, gather or welcome guests.

What Is a 21 Foot Yurt Good For?
A 21 foot yurt works well where you need a large, flexible and comfortable space. It can be used as a home, classroom, yoga room, therapy room, studio, shop, retreat space or generous guest accommodation.
It gives more floor area than the 18 and 20 foot yurts, with enough room for furniture, clear open space and more flexible interior layouts.
For use through more of the year, it can be made as an insulated yurt with natural wool felt insulation, a fire-retardant inner liner and our double-canvas roof system.
A Strong All-Round Large Yurt
The 21 foot yurt has around 32 square metres of floor space. This makes it a strong option where the yurt will be used regularly, rather than simply for occasional stays.
It is large enough for living, teaching, yoga, retreat use or guest accommodation, while retaining the warmth and atmosphere of a circular yurt.

21 Foot Yurt Dimensions
The 21 foot yurt is approximately 640 cm in diameter, with around 32 square metres of floor space.
It can seat approximately forty-five people and sleep up to seven people in simple use.
The total height is approximately 305 cm, with a wall height of around 155 cm.
