A Large Handcrafted Yurt
for Retreats, Yoga and Group Use
A 24 foot yurt gives around 42 square metres of circular floor space. It is one of our largest regular sizes and works well for retreats, yoga, group work, studios, guest accommodation and spacious living.
The size gives a substantial open interior without moving into the very largest yurt in our range. There is enough width for a clear central space, with room around the edge for seating, beds, storage or equipment.
This is the size to consider when you need a serious usable space rather than a small garden room or occasional guest yurt.
Like our other yurts, it is made with a natural chestnut frame, a handcrafted solid oak crown and carefully fitted covers.

Using a 24 Foot Yurt
For yoga, retreats and group work, the 24 foot yurt gives a strong sense of shared space without feeling cramped.
For guest accommodation or living, it allows a more generous layout with proper areas for sleeping, sitting and storage.
It is also a good size for therapy work, teaching, small events, studio use or a quiet retreat space where the interior needs to feel calm, open and practical.
Canvas-Only or Insulated
A 24 foot yurt can be made as a canvas-only yurt for simpler seasonal use.
For regular retreats, guest accommodation, colder months or year-round living, it can be supplied as an insulated yurt with natural wool felt insulation, a fire-retardant inner liner and our double-canvas roof system.
Doors, windows and Glass Wall sections can also be added to suit the setting and intended use.

24 Foot Yurt Dimensions
The 24 foot yurt is approximately 732 cm in diameter, with around 42 square metres of floor space.
It can seat approximately sixty people and sleep up to ten people in simple use.
The total height is approximately 315 cm, with a wall height of around 155 cm.
The most suitable layout depends on beds, furniture, stove position, doors, windows and how much clear floor space you need.

24 Foot or 25 Foot?
The 24 foot yurt is already a substantial space. The 25 foot yurt adds a little more floor area and may suit larger groups, bigger retreat layouts or customers who want the largest size we make.
For many uses, the 24 foot yurt is the more balanced choice. It is large enough for serious group use while remaining practical to heat, furnish and place on a platform.
