A 10 foot yurt is our smallest practical yurt size. It is compact, easy to use and surprisingly roomy inside, with enough space for a simple bed, small table, storage or a quiet working corner.
A 10 foot yurt can be made as a canvas-only yurt or as an insulated yurt, depending on how you plan to use it. The size is small, but the specification can still be chosen around your needs.
It is a good choice for camping, a garden room, children’s playroom, small retreat room, treatment space, seasonal guest room or a private place to work or sit.
Like our larger yurts, it is made with a natural chestnut frame, a handcrafted solid oak crown and carefully fitted covers. It is small, but it is still a proper Yurt Workshop yurt.

What Is a 10 Foot Yurt Good For?
A 10 foot yurt is best where you want a small, beautiful and flexible space rather than a large living yurt. It works well for occasional guest use, camping, garden rooms, creative work, children’s spaces, treatment rooms, meditation rooms, saunas, small shops or simple seasonal accommodation.
For use through more of the year, it can also be made as an insulated yurt, with natural wool felt insulation, an inner liner and our double-canvas roof system.
It is one of the easiest sizes to transport, pitch and look after. For anyone wanting the feel of a handcrafted yurt without needing a larger structure, it is a practical place to begin.
Compact but Surprisingly Roomy
Although the footprint is small, the circular shape makes the interior feel more generous than many people expect.
A 10 foot yurt can sleep one or two people simply, or provide a comfortable small room for sitting, working, playing or retreat use.

10 Foot Yurt Dimensions
The 10 foot yurt is approximately 305 cm in diameter, with around 7 square metres of floor space. It can seat approximately six people and sleep one or two people in simple use.
The total height is approximately 244 cm, with a wall height of around 130 cm.
