EXPLORE YURT OPTIONS
Choosing a yurt is mainly a matter of size, cover type, insulation, doors, windows, and whether you want one of our Glass Wall yurts. This page brings the main choices together so you can get a clear idea of what you want before asking us for an estimate.
Once you know the size and options you are interested in, get in touch and we’ll prepare a bespoke estimate for your yurt.
We sometimes have yurts available sooner than our usual lead time, either currently in the workshop or available from stock.

Step 1: Choose Your Yurt Size
Size is usually the first decision. Think about how you want to use the yurt, how many people it needs to hold, and how much internal space you want. We make a wide range of sizes, from smaller garden yurts to larger yurts for guest accommodation, living spaces and retreats.

Step 2: Choose Your Yurt Cover
Canvas Covers
Our standard yurt covers are made from strong, carefully proofed canvas, chosen for durability, weather protection and appearance. Each cover is cut and sewn to fit the yurt properly, so it pitches cleanly and sits well on the frame.
Canvas colour options are available, so you can choose a yurt cover that suits the setting, the landscape and the intended use of the yurt.
Insulated Yurt Covers
For regular use, cooler climates, or greater comfort through the year, we recommend our insulated yurt covers with wool felt insulation and an inner lining. These help the yurt feel warmer, quieter and more finished inside.
Insulated and lined yurts are especially useful for guest accommodation, retreats, studios and year-round use.

Step 3: Choose Doors and Windows
Our yurts come with a canvas door as standard. For more security, easier access, or regular use, many customers choose a wooden door with a lock.
Windows can also be added to bring in more light, improve ventilation, and make the yurt feel more open inside.
You can choose the door and window options that best suit how the yurt will be used, whether for guest accommodation, a garden room, a studio, a retreat space, or year-round living.
Step 4: Choose a Glass Wall Yurt
Our Glass Wall yurts replace part of the canvas wall with a fitted wooden and glass section, bringing more light, wider views and a stronger connection with the surrounding landscape.
They are especially popular for guest accommodation, yoga spaces, studios, garden rooms and yurts used as living spaces.
A Glass Wall yurt gives the structure a more open, architectural feel while keeping the warmth and character of a traditional yurt.
Step 5: Choose Canvas Colours
Our canvas is available in a range of colours, so you can choose the look that best suits the setting. You can also choose different colours for the walls, roof and crown cover.
Most customers choose natural canvas colours that sit well in the landscape, but brighter colours are also available for more distinctive yurts.
